Village of Obnoxious Drunks and Foot-Grabbers: Addendum

If you haven't heard about Ray Rice, formerly of the Baltimore Ravens, feeling the belated consequences of punching his wife in the face so hard that she passed out and had to be ignominiously dragged from an elevator by her assailant-- well, that's the gist of it.

Facebook has erupted, of course, with all variety of opinions.  My own feed included The Huffington Post headline, "Despicable."

Followed by Jezebel's commentary:

The various perspectives are summarized here, in a fella's comment on news of Rice's dismissal from the Ravens-- several months after he received only a slap on the wrist (so to speak) from the team and the NFL when the first video, showing Mrs. Rice being dragged from the elevator, was published.

All of which is to say that, if the obnoxious drunk who put his dirty hands on my innocent baby in my previous post had been on video-- if people had to confront his actions, if those actions could be paused on the screen-- maybe those actions would be harder to dismiss.
